I know that at least some of you guys like JoJo, so I decided to make a JoJo thread.
To kick this off, post your following favorites:
>JoJo >Part >Villain >Ally >Stand
I'll start with mine.
>Joseph >Part 2 >Kira (Part 4) >Polnareff >Heaven's Door

>Joseph >Part 2 >Honestly can't say, too many good ones >Rudolf von Stroheim >Either Hanged Man or Empress
Jojo is a pretty great series. Although I wasn't fond of the introduction of Stands in comparison to the Harmon stuff they did before.

Also, I agree about how badly Stands were introduced. When Tower of Gray came in I was still trying to figure out what the fuck was going on. Hamon was at least like "yo we got this sun-fu that kills vampires and sexy posing aztecs."

I've only watched the anime. Manga is really great for certain genres, but I think that GAR is better when the action is clearly visible.
Also I understood Stands, but they seemed completely unnecessary until fairly far into the arc. Especially since Jotaro's Stand was just him except a little stronger. On top of that, Hamon actually had a good reason for why it killed vampires. Stands were just like "these are powerful and such, so they can magically kill the vampires".

I just started part 7. And yeah Stands are pretty bullshit in Part 3, but they get good in part 4 and fucking amazing in part 6.

Part 7 is fucking fantastic. I don't have anything relating to it on my post because it just barely gets beaten out by other things. 2nd best part. 2nd best villain. 2nd best Ally. Also, IMO Part 6 has some of the best stand concepts, but the worst uses. Heavy Weather in particular is just fucking retarded.

Johnny Part 7 fam. Literally fucking art, the only part I'd say is good even if you're looking for something more than a beautifully generic fighting manga. Dio, really only because Araki has given him more time to develop than the other villains. Or the Pillar Men. I liked Valentine but he had no real substance other than "I'M A PATRIOT BECAUSE MY FATHER". I mean, it's not like Araki couldn't have wrote him better and still not given him much time to develop, he gave Ringo Roadagain a wonderful background and he was only around for like, one arc? Gyro. Tusk 4. Abilities are cool asf, it's progression helped represent Johnny's character development, best Oraora of the series, and one of the cooler designs. Design-wise though, I think Killer Queen wins me over.

He's an alright character but why do you like him the best? Other than that your opinions are pretty good.

Plus, he's semi-relatable in how he was before he met Gyro, daddy issues and stand-offish with not much to lose by joining a horse race. He learns he's useful past being able to race horses and there's more to being alive then just enjoying cheap pleasantries like he was before he lost the use of his legs, and even when he gets the use of his legs back, he sees he didn't really need that as much as he needed a change of mindset. Other than him I guess either Josuke or Joeseph are my favorite.
